lace detailing, and is great for someone who is looking for something very simple yet pretty. I had a lot of compliments on the dress, as it is just very lovely and not over-the-top/ball gown - it fits a certain personality, if you know what I mean (I definitely was never thinking of wearing a big Cinderella dress). The dress is also very comfortable and light, as there are only 4 layers (2 are gauze), a built in crinoline (the thing that gives the dress shape/volume on the bottom), and not a lot of structural elements (e.g. not a lot of boning and such in the torso). My wedding was in the garden of my aunt's giant house in Pasadena, and the dress matched perfectly with the setting. ALSO - the dress was slightly loose in the torso area, so if you have larger measurements than me (by 2 inches), you could fit into the dress. Likewise, if you have measurements like me and want a tighter fitting dress, you can get it tailored. I wanted something looser, but that is of course a personal preference.
