This is a lovely Vera Wang wedding gown. I purchased it earlier this year from a wonderful woman, her mother had bought this dress for her, and since her mother passed away, it was difficult for her to have the gown in her closet. I too had lost...
my mother, and I felt connected to this woman about this dress. Unfortunately despite mine and Weight Watchers best efforts, I will not be able to fit into this dress for my own wedding, and so I would like to find it a good home. The woman I bought the dress from, didn't charge me a lot for the dress, because she wanted another bride to love it as she had, and I would like to pass that onto the lucky bride, who would love to wear this gown on her special day. More about the dress, the dress is layers of pleated ivory English Netting, with a beautiful ivory grosgrain ribbon. If you look at the photos of the back of the dress, you will see that it does not have a long train, but simply gracefully falls longer at the back. There are ties underneath to bustle the gown (please see photos). The size label is a 10, and the length is perfect for someone 5'7" to wear ballet slippers. If there are any particular measurements I can take for you to help with the sizing I'm glad to do that. The dress is beautiful and the only flaws I see are at the zipper. The zipper goes up and down smoothly- but there is a slight pull away from the material (please see photo). I have checked the hem of the dress for signs of wear and there is none that I can see.
