This dress was a sample from the Lela Rose showroom, from the Spring 2008 collection. It has never been worn, only tried on a few times, and is in very good condition. It is made of a beautiful silk faille and has a wonderful cotton cording detail around the top...

on the halter straps and around the bottom of the skirt (with a small sweep train). The neckline is a halter, and the cotton corded straps come together behind the neck to button together with four cotton-covered buttons. The back has a stunning cutout as seen in the pictures. The use of the silk faille and cotton cording makes the dress very modern and updated, but the silhouette is classic and universally flattering. This dress is definitely for the bride who craves an unconventional wedding dress, and if you are familiar with Lela Rose's ready-to-wear collections, then you know of her attention to detail and use of fabrics and silhouettes in innovative ways. Length from top of armpit to bottom of skirt- around 55" Back sweep train- 8" longer than front and side of skirt Dress fits me perfectly and I am about a street size 4. Length on dress could easily be taken up.
